Contract - Vermeer OEM Parts

Background

The City of Los Angeles is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for an Annual Requirements Contract (ARC) for Vermeer OEM Parts. The purpose of this contract is to ensure the procurement of necessary parts from the manufacturer Vermeer without substitutions, maintaining standardization with existing equipment. This initiative aligns with the city's commitment to efficient and effective procurement processes.

Work Details

The contractor will supply Vermeer OEM parts as specified in the RFQ. Bidders are required to provide a percentage discount or markup from the manufacturer's nationally published price list. The contract will cover all necessary parts as outlined in Attachment B of the RFQ. Bidders must include a copy of the latest manufacturer’s price list with their quotation. The city reserves the right to acquire similar items from other sources if necessary, and individual purchases exceeding $50,000 may be competitively bid separately.

Period of Performance

The contract is expected to commence on May 31, 2026, or upon award notification, and will continue until May 31, 2028.

Place of Performance

The delivery of goods will be made to various locations within the City of Los Angeles as specified in individual orders.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with the Contractor Responsibility Ordinance (CRO) and submit a completed Responsibility Questionnaire. They should also provide proof of certification as a Small Local Business (SLB) or Local Business Enterprise (LBE) if applicable. Additionally, bidders must adhere to off-peak delivery hours and ensure compliance with all applicable laws regarding labor and employment.
