Background

The San Felipe Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District (SFDRCISD) is seeking qualified vendors to provide inspection and testing of fire alarm, sprinkler, and suppression systems district-wide. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and to provide written reports identifying any deficiencies in the fire systems.

Work Details

The awarded vendor will perform annual inspections of all sprinkler systems, which include: checking proper pressure, identifying broken or damaged parts, assessing corroded or rusted parts, ensuring communication/connection with the fire system, and verifying the proper operation of booster pumps. The vendor must tag all equipment for proper operation and readiness. If any equipment does not meet operational standards, a written itemized repair cost estimate must be submitted to the Construction Manager or Maintenance Coordinator. The vendor must supply all necessary apparatus and supplies needed to perform the job. Inspections must be conducted during normal business hours unless otherwise specified.

Period of Performance

The maintenance service will commence immediately upon award and will end on June 30, 2027, with options to renew for the 2027-2028 and 2028-2029 school calendar years if deemed in the best interest of SFDRCISD.

Services will be performed at multiple campuses and locations within the San Felipe Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District in Del Rio, Texas.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must provide proof of insurance for general liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence), automobile liability ($500,000), and workers' compensation insurance as required by Texas law.
