Cleaning Services for Muscatine DL Service Center

Background

The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is seeking competitive quotes for cleaning services for the Muscatine Driver License Service Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure a clean and well-maintained environment at the service center, which aligns with the agency's mission to provide quality service to the public. The bidding process adheres to the procedures and requirements established in Iowa Administrative Code 761--20.

Work Details

The contractor will provide comprehensive cleaning services as outlined in the attached Scope of Work & Floor Plan. Specific tasks include: 1) Daily/Weekly/Monthly cleaning services for a duration of 12 months; 2) Shampooing carpeting semi-annually; 3) Stripping and waxing floors semi-annually; 4) Cleaning walls and ceiling vents quarterly. All tasks are detailed in the attached SOW document.

Period of Performance

The contract will be awarded for one year, with an option to renew for five additional years in twelve-month increments.

Place of Performance

Muscatine Driver License Service Center, Muscatine, Iowa.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must certify that they have read, understood, and accepted all terms of the solicitation. The successful contractor will be required to maintain specified insurance coverage and provide at least three commercial or residential references. Additionally, bidders must identify their primary cleaning crew size and backup staff.
