Background

The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is seeking competitive quotes for the installation of a new roof, gutters, downspouts, and aluminum entry doors at the Cherokee RCE office. This project aims to enhance the facility's infrastructure in alignment with the agency's mission to maintain and improve transportation systems in Iowa. The bidding process adheres to the procedures established in Iowa Administrative Code 761--20.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing and installing a new roof, gutters, downspouts, and aluminum entry doors at the Cherokee RCE office. The work must comply with the specifications outlined in the attached Project Manual and Plans documents. All work shall be conducted under the direct supervision of the Iowa DOT, which will conduct periodic site inspections to ensure project coordination.

Period of Performance

The estimated start date for the contract is upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed, with an expected completion date of July 31, 2026.

The contract will be performed at the Cherokee RCE office located in Iowa.

Bidder Requirements
