Food Items for CDC Warehouse

Background

This Request for Bids (RFB) is issued by the Lead Agency to solicit bids from qualified providers for food items to be delivered to the CDC Warehouse in Woodward, Iowa. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the Lead Agency and any Participating Agencies receive necessary food supplies efficiently and effectively. The contract may be extended at the discretion of the Lead Agency and is not intended to be exclusive.

Work Details

The contractor will provide a variety of food items as specified in the solicitation. The items include: 1. Ground Beef - 20,000 lbs, frozen, 80/20, no additives. 2. Frozen Chicken Leg Quarters - 10,000 lbs, uniform size (8-11 oz), domestic product. 3. Frozen Ground Turkey - 10,000 lbs, 85% lean, packed in 10 lb tubes. 4. Canned Applesauce - 952 cases, solid pack, sweetened. 5. Canned Yellow Waxed Beans - 336 cases, US Grade B. 6. Cheese Sauce - 224 cases, no nacho flavor. 7. Canned Whole Kernel Corn - 336 cases, US Grade B Golden. 8. Canned Mandarin Oranges - 952 cases, packed in light syrup. 9. Canned Diced Peaches - 952 cases, yellow cling peaches in light syrup or juice. 10. Canned Diced Pears - 952 cases, Bartlett pears in light syrup. 11. Vanilla Pudding - 224 cases. 12. Chocolate Pudding - 224 cases. 13. Frozen Bagels - 400 cases, assorted flavors. 14. Frozen Cut Broccoli - 10,000 lbs, US Grade A. 15. Bean and Cheese Burritos - 6,000 each. 16. Frozen Diced Carrots - 12,000 lbs, US Grade A. 17. Frozen Whole Kernel Corn - 10,000 lbs.

Period of Performance

The contract term will begin after a five-day appeal period following the Notice of Intent to Award is issued and will continue as specified in the solicitation with potential annual extensions.

Place of Performance

The delivery location is the CDC Warehouse located at 1251 334th St., Woodward Iowa 50276.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all specifications outlined in the RFB to be deemed responsible bidders and must agree to shipping terms of FOB Destination with freight prepaid.
