Work Requested

The City of Sioux City is seeking a qualified multidisciplinary consultant team to conduct a comprehensive corridor study along Morningside Avenue, spanning from Jay Avenue to Transit Avenue. The primary objectives of this study include: - Developing Capital Improvement Program planning - Preparing preliminary conceptual engineering drawings for corridor improvements - Addressing safety and traffic flow concerns - Enhancing accessibility for pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit users - Incorporating streetscaping enhancements - Evaluating city utilities specifically water, wastewater, and storm sewer infrastructure for potential replacement and/or rehabilitation needs

Background

Consultant teams must be qualified and multidisciplinary, capable of addressing the full range of tasks outlined in the Scope of Services. The final scope of services will be negotiated with the City after the top firms are selected and City Council authorizes staff to enter negotiations regarding price and scope.
