Surveying Services

Background

The City of Portsmouth, Virginia is seeking qualified engineering and/or surveying firms to provide land surveying services on an 'as needed' basis. The goal of this contract is to support various city projects that require technical expertise in surveying. Firms must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia to perform such work.

Work Details

The selected firms will provide a full range of land surveying services, including but not limited to: - Boundary surveys - Topographic surveys - Hydrological surveys - Monumentation for city projects. They will also be responsible for creating plats and other mapping necessary for the acquisition and disposition of City-owned property, as well as easements and rights-of-way related to surveying projects within the City. All services must be performed by qualified, certified personnel.

Period of Performance

The contract period is one year with the option to renew for four additional one-year terms.

City of Portsmouth, Virginia.

Bidder Requirements

Firms must be licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia to perform surveying work. The City encourages participation from Small, Women Owned and Minority Owned (SWAM/MBE) businesses in all contracts.
