The Tazewell County School Board is seeking bids for the replacement of a section of the 'C' wing roof at the Tazewell County Career and Technical Center. Work Details

The scope of work includes: - Removing ballast rock from the roof - Existing EPDM membrane, wall flashing, and curb flashing materials - Replacing any wet insulation - Cleaning up and disposing of debris. The contractor will furnish and install new wood blocking at the top and interior side of parapet walls, as well as new retrofit roof drains. Installation will involve 10,600 square feet of Elevate Rubbergard .060 EPDM rubber roofing material using a ballasted method. The new roof must cover perimeter walls, curbs, and roof penetrations to provide a watertight system. Additionally, new metal edging using 24-gauge steel in Mansard Brown color must be fabricated and installed. The successful bidder must ensure all roof drains function properly and provide necessary hardware for drain integrity. All installation must adhere to manufacturer specifications, including proper fastening and sealing to maintain a watertight condition.
