Baconton Charter Pavilion

Background

Baconton Community Charter School is seeking bids for the construction of a pavilion on its main campus. The project aims to provide a functional outdoor space for the school community, adhering to local and state regulations.

Work Details

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to construct a complete Baconton Charter School Pavilion as indicated in the project drawings. The structure will be a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) system with the following specifications: - Main Gable dimensions of 80' x 170' x 25' with a 3/12 pitch. - Two Lean-tos measuring 35' x 151' x 14' with a 1/12 pitch. The building will have no exterior walls, and roof panels must be at least 26-gauge metal. The contractor is responsible for site preparation, including building a level dirt pad as needed and constructing a concrete slab with a minimum compressive strength of 3,000 PSI at 28 days. All work must comply with applicable local, state, and federal codes and regulations.

Period of Performance

The contract is expected to be completed by May 8, 2026.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must be licensed by the State of Georgia and provide proof of general liability insurance and worker’s compensation insurance. A performance bond may also be required to ensure project completion according to contract terms.
