Background

The Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of State Fire Marshal, is seeking competitive proposals for the procurement of WRM400-556N-11B_PRO-SBR rifles. The goal of this contract is to acquire new rifles while allowing for the trade-in of existing CMMG Resolute carbines currently in service. This initiative aims to enhance the equipment available to the State Fire Marshal's office.

The contract involves the purchase of 36 new SIG Sauer WRM400 Pro SBR rifles and the trade-in of 39 existing CMMG Resolute carbines in good condition. The specifications for the new rifles include: - Caliber: 5.56 NATO - Barrel: 11" - Action: Semi-automatic - Operating system: Gas-operated - Receiver: Aluminum - Rail system: M-LOK - Stock: Adjustable - Sights: Optics-ready - Finish: Black - Barrel twist: 1:7 For trade-in units, there are 32 units of CMMG Resolute Carbine (9mm) and 7 units of CMMG Resolute Carbine (5.56), both in good condition with specified features.

Period of Performance

The contract performance period begins on May 8, 2026, and ends on May 22, 2026.

Place of Performance

The performance will take place at a designated location for inspections at 8895 East Main St., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must provide itemized pricing for all new rifles and proposed trade-in credit for each model of returning firearm. They must also submit a net total cost after trade-in as this will be the primary basis for award evaluation.
