AWARD WILL BE MADE TO THE LOWEST PRICED, TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE OFFER. Each item in Technical Submission Requirements below will receive an adjectival rating of Acceptable (A) or Unacceptable (U). Any criterion that receives U rating will result in an overall unacceptable technical rating and render the offer ineligible for award. An Acceptable (A) rating is defined as the offer clearly meets the minimum requirements of the solicitation. An Unacceptable rating is defined as the offer does not clearly meet the minimum requirements of the solicitation.
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE, THE CONTRACTOR MUST SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING WITH THEIR QUOTE: a) The offeror is registered and has no active or inactive exclusions listed in their Entity Record on the System for Award Management (SAM). The government will check this in SAM.GOV. b) The Offeror is to submit a valid North Carolina general contractor's license from the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors (NCLBGC) at the time of quote. c) The Offeror is to provide a warranty for all Workmanship for a duration of 10 years or longer. d) In order for an Offeror to be determined technically acceptable, the offeror must show previous experience with the type of work described in the SOW. Offerors must show previous experience on a minimum of two (2) contracts/projects at the time of quote. e) The offeror is to submit a technical proposal at the time of quote that clearly demonstrates the ability to meet all requirements set out in the Statement of Work (SOW). Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of the warehouse roof at the Engineer Repair Yard located in Leland, North Carolina. The goal of this contract is to ensure the structural integrity and safety of the facility through necessary construction work. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for all tasks related to the replacement of the warehouse roof, which includes but is not limited to: conducting site inspections, adhering to safety regulations as per OSHA standards, and ensuring compliance with all relevant construction codes. The contractor must demonstrate previous experience with similar projects by providing evidence of at least two completed contracts/projects. Additionally, a warranty for workmanship lasting a minimum of 10 years must be provided. The contractor must also submit a technical proposal that meets all requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
