Background

Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) is the largest school system in Georgia, serving over 182,000 students across more than 140 schools. The agency is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified suppliers for the purchase of Chromebooks to support its educational mission.

Work Details

The contract involves the supply of Chromebooks, with specific requirements including: - Vendors must be certified resellers/partners for both HP and Lenovo. - Enrollment of each Chromebook into the GCPS.org Google Apps Domain and appropriate Organizational Unit (OU). - Tagging of each Chromebook with two decals provided by GCPS, one affixed to the underside of the machine and another on the outside of the box. - Delivery of devices to various school locations as specified on the GCPS website. - Provision of a complete electronic list of serial numbers or service tags per school, detailing at a minimum the serial number and corresponding tag number for each machine ordered. - Ability to track shipments and provide shipping information upon purchase. - Warranties must include manufacturer’s warranty duration, coverages, terms, and conditions, along with any available extended warranties.

Period of Performance

The contract term is effective from June 19, 2026, or upon award, through June 18, 2027. GCPS reserves the right to renew this contract for up to four additional one-year periods for a total potential term length of five years.

Place of Performance

The delivery locations include various school sites within Gwinnett County as well as a central warehouse.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must coordinate with designated GCPS personnel throughout procurement and delivery processes. They are required to provide at least three references for similar projects and ensure clear policies for returning damaged items. Additionally, they must submit documentation regarding any anticipated cost escalations within ten days of awareness.
