Liquid Propane Gas Grill

Background

The Department of Forensic Science (DFS) is seeking to procure three Liquid Propane Gas Grills to support its operations. The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality grilling equipment that meets specific performance standards, as outlined in the attached specifications. The agency emphasizes that no equivalents will be accepted, ensuring that the selected grills meet their exact requirements.

Work Details

The contractor shall provide three Weber Spirit E-425 Black 4-Burner Liquid Propane Gas Grills (Part #1500780). The pricing must include FOB destination shipping to three locations: Eastern Laboratory at 830 Southampton Ave, #400, Norfolk, VA 23510; Northern Laboratory at 10850 Pyramid Place, Manassas, VA 20110; and Western Laboratory at 6600 Northside High School Road, Roanoke, VA 24019. All grills must be assembled and set in place, ready for use upon delivery. Additionally, the contractor must provide operations and maintenance manuals with each grill, including wiring diagrams and parts lists.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed upon award and is expected to be completed within a timeframe that allows for timely delivery of the grills as specified.

Place of Performance

Delivery locations include Norfolk, Manassas, and Roanoke in Virginia.

Bidder Requirements

Bids are set aside for DSBSD-certified micro businesses or small businesses. The award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who meets these criteria. Bidders must also comply with all applicable insurance requirements including workers' compensation and general liability coverage.
