DPS Post 13 Upper Parking Lot Replacement

Background

The Iowa Department of Administrative Services is issuing a solicitation for the replacement of the upper parking lot at the Department of Public Safety Post 13, located at 1300 S Grand Ave, Suite 201, Mount Pleasant, Iowa 52641. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility's parking infrastructure in alignment with state safety and operational standards. The anticipated construction start date is late summer or early fall of 2026, with completion expected by October 16, 2026.

Work Details

The project involves the complete replacement of the upper parking lot including grading, paving, and resurfacing as specified under commodity codes: - 91336 (Construction, Parking Lot and Alley) - 91375 (Maintenance and Repair, Parking Lot and Alley) - 91394 (Paving and Resurfacing, Alley and Parking Lot) - 98832 (Grading, Parking Lots, etc., Not Road Building). Bidders are required to submit a bid security amounting to 5% of the total bid amount along with their proposals. Bidding documents including drawings and project manuals are available for review.

Period of Performance

The construction is expected to commence in late summer or early fall of 2026 and must be completed no later than October 16, 2026.
