Background

The State of Iowa, through the Iowa Telecommunications and Technology Commission (ICN), is seeking bids for Juniper products and services. The ICN operates the Iowa Communications Network and aims to procure support for existing and future equipment as needed. This initiative is part of their ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance communication infrastructure across the state.

Work Details

Vendors are required to provide Juniper products and services, including support for existing and future equipment as requested by the ICN. Specific requirements include: - Provision of Juniper hardware such as ACX7024 units, Ex Series, QFX 5K and 10K Series, MX204, 480 & 960, along with accessories like optics. - Offering a one-year warranty on all products purchased or adhering to the manufacturer's warranty if greater. - Providing technical instruction and installation manuals for each piece of equipment purchased. - All shipments must be delivered F.O.B. point of destination within Iowa with full freight allowed. - The vendor must pass on any volume discounts or promotional pricing from manufacturers to the ICN during the contract period.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon execution and is expected to last for one year, with options for annual renewal up to five additional years based on mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at various locations across Iowa as specified by the ICN.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must be qualified to resell Juniper products and support, authorized to conduct business in Iowa, and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Additionally, vendors must provide a completed Bid Proposal Compliance Form, Authorization to Release Information Form, and Bid Proposal Submittal Form as part of their submission.
