The Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT) is seeking competitive quotes for a qualified Testing Provider to deliver Post Offer Employment Testing across all Iowa DOT District Field Offices. The goal of this contract is to ensure that job-specific tests are conducted to determine the fitness of candidates for their applied positions, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The contract aims to provide equitable access and support statewide participation by maintaining multiple testing sites throughout Iowa, ensuring accessibility for all eligible individuals.
The Testing Provider will be responsible for conducting Post Offer Employment Testing, which includes job-specific tests that qualify or disqualify candidates based on their fitness for duty. The provider must maintain multiple testing locations across urban, suburban, and rural areas in Iowa, ensuring candidates do not travel more than two hours from their assigned DOT garage. The provider is required to regularly assess testing site locations for geographic distribution and accessibility. A complete list of all testing locations with mailing addresses must be provided. Deliveries shall be F.O.B Destination.
The contract will have an initial term of 12 months, with the option to renew for up to five additional 12-month periods. The estimated start date is upon Notice to Proceed Announcement.
Testing will be conducted at various locations across Iowa as determined by the Testing Provider, ensuring broad geographic coverage.
