Furnish and Install Truck Caps and Bedslide System

Background

The Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of State Police, is issuing this Unsealed Invitation for Bid (UIFB) to solicit bids from qualified vendors for the furnishing and installation of Truck Caps and Bedslide systems specifically designed for Ford F-250 vehicles. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all items are sourced from a single vendor and installed at one location, enhancing operational efficiency and standardization.

Work Details

The contractor will provide the following products and services: 1. Furnish and install 3 units of Leer Truck Cap, Part # 100SCC-F107, color-matched to Ford factory specifications. 2. Furnish and install 3 units of Clamps Bulb Seal. 3. Furnish and install 3 units of Leer 7-way wiring Harness, Part # CPT-300200. 4. Furnish and install 3 units of Clamp G-959-DCC with Toolbox (4), Part # CPT-136154. 5. Furnish and install 3 units of 79”x48” 2000 Pro HD Bedslide System, Part # AR-207948HD with a minimum load capacity of 2,000 pounds and full extension capability. All installations must occur within 35 miles of VSP Headquarters in Richmond, VA.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence from the date of award until the final delivery of goods/products.

Place of Performance

All installations will take place at a single location within 35 miles of VSP Headquarters located at 7700 Midlothian Turnpike, Richmond, VA.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be authorized dealers for Leer and Bedslide products. They must also have adequate insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation, including workers' compensation and general liability insurance. Additionally, bidders should be registered in eVA to submit their bids electronically.
