Work Details The contract involves the replacement of mountaintop helicopter pads at three repeater sites: Etolin, Farragut, and Fools. The work includes: - Providing a PE stamped design based on a 90% preliminary drawing package, including calculations and construction plans approved by a qualified registered professional engineer licensed in Alaska. - Removing existing 10-foot by 12-foot aluminum grate helicopter pads and installing new minimum 15-foot by 15-foot aluminum grate landing pads according to provided drawings. - Constructing concrete pier footings as per final construction drawings. - Installing two aluminum stairways at each new landing pad, attached at designated locations. - Clearing vegetation to create a brushed area of 60-foot by 60-foot around the helicopter landing pads to ensure safety during landings.
