Background The 76th Ordnance Regiment (ORD) at Fort Bragg, NC, is seeking a contractor to provide non-personal services for the assembly, installation, and testing of a 10-ton Wallace Gantry Crane with hoist. This crane is essential for the maintenance support of Nuclear Biological Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicles (NBCRVs) to ensure they are operational and mission-ready. The CECS East facility at Fort Bragg has purchased the crane unassembled and lacks the necessary equipment and expertise to assemble it safely, which poses potential safety hazards.
