The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is seeking bids for the removal and lawful disposal of deceased Whitetail Deer carcasses located on or within 50 feet of publicly maintained highways in Bradford and Susquehanna Counties, Pennsylvania. The goal of this contract is to ensure public safety and environmental compliance regarding the handling of animal carcasses. The project may be renewed for up to an additional four years, one year at a time, with mutual agreement between the PGC and the vendor.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for: 1. Removing and disposing of deceased Whitetail Deer carcasses or major parts thereof from specified municipalities within Bradford and Susquehanna Counties. 2. Ensuring that no action is taken until a police officer or Game Commission officer has confirmed that the deer is dead after being struck. 3. Complying with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste disposal and environmental protection.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon execution of the Purchase Order and will continue for an initial term as specified in the Purchase Order, with options for renewal for up to four additional years.
