Background

The 2026 50/50 Sidewalk Repairs Project is initiated by the Wyomissing Borough in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Work Details

The work includes: - Replacement of 3,233.25 square feet (SF) of existing sidewalk. - Replacement of 293 SF of driveway approaches. - Installation of 8 roof leaders at designated residential locations. - Compliance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act due to estimated construction costs exceeding $25,000. - Adherence to General Conditions and detailed Specifications referenced in the bid package.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence on July 28, 2026, with an estimated completion date of September 30, 2026. The total duration for completion is set at 64 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

The project will be performed at various residential locations throughout Wyomissing Borough, Berks County, Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond amounting to ten percent (10%) of their bid total. Additionally, bidders are required to provide a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor’s Qualification Statement. A Performance Bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount must be provided within ten (10) calendar days after receiving written notice of acceptance.
