Fabrication and Installation Services for FBI Spares

Background

Prince William Water is a public utility established in 1983, responsible for providing comprehensive water and sewer services in Prince William County. The agency serves approximately 98,000 customers and operates wastewater treatment facilities. The county is experiencing rapid population growth and has a diverse community. This RFP seeks proposals for Fabrication and Installation Services for Fluidized Bed Incinerator (FBI) Spares at the H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility.

Work Details

The contract involves fabrication and installation services for various components related to the Fluidized Bed Incinerator (FBI) spares. Specific items include:

FBI Top Plenum

- Crossover duct connecting the FBI to the Heat Exchanger Top Plenum

Crossover Expansion Joint(s)

- Heat Exchanger itself. The selected contractor will also evaluate the condition of the existing heat exchanger and may be requested to refurbish it as an option.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will continue until the completion of all work as specified in the contract documents.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at the H.L. Mooney Advanced Water Reclamation Facility located at 1851 Rippon Boulevard, Woodbridge, VA 22191.

Bidder Requirements

Offerors must demonstrate experience in similar projects within the public utilities sector. They should provide evidence of their qualifications, including staffing plans and experience of key personnel. Additionally, Offerors must comply with any applicable licensing requirements and provide performance and payment bonds upon selection.
