Background The contract is issued by the 180th Fighter Wing, which is responsible for ensuring reliable and efficient climate control at their facility. The existing ducted heat pump system has been identified for replacement due to aging equipment that could lead to potential failures. The goal of the contract is to demo and remove an existing PUMY-P48NHMU heat pump unit and associated indoor unit at building 120, and to furnish, install, and commission a new, compatible, like-for-like ducted heat pump system. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary for the project. Specific tasks include: - Demoing and removing the existing heat pump unit and indoor unit; - Furnishing, installing, and commissioning a new ducted heat pump system; - Reworking electrical and controls as necessary; - Recovering the existing refrigerant; - Charging the new system with new refrigerant; - Reconnecting ductwork to the new indoor unit; - Performing final testing and startup. The contractor is responsible for all labor, equipment, tools, appliances, transportation, materials, disposal, and documentation associated with the project. Period of Performance The Period of Performance shall be 60 days after issuance of the notice to proceed. Place of Performance The services will be performed at building 120 at the 180th Fighter Wing located at 2660 S. Eber Rd., Swanton, OH 43558.
