The agency is seeking competitive sealed bids from qualified suppliers for the purchase of New Vehicle Emergency Equipment to enhance their operational capabilities.

Work Details

The contract involves the purchase and installation of New Vehicle Emergency Equipment for approximately 15-17 vehicles annually. The supplier must provide all requested equipment, including labor and installation costs in the unit price. Specific requirements include: - Installation capability within 60 miles of 600 Old Snellville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA. - Completion of approved orders within 72 hours of vehicle pick-up unless otherwise approved. - No substitutions of equipment or specifications are permitted. - Coordination with designated GCPS personnel throughout procurement, delivery, and post-sale cycles. - Weekly status reports on pending orders. - Assignment of an account manager and a central billing contact. - Provision of at least three references for similar projects completed within the last five years.

Period of Performance

The contract term is effective from July 27, 2026, through July 26, 2027, with an option for renewal for up to four additional one-year periods, totaling a potential five-year term.

The services will be performed within a 60-mile radius of 600 Old Snellville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have a valid type C driver's license for any drivers operating district vehicles. They are responsible for any accidents or damages incurred while operating these vehicles. Additionally, bidders must provide written notice to GCPS regarding any anticipated cost escalations within ten days and submit detailed documentation to substantiate increased costs.
