Background The GSA Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) 47QFSA26R0004 for MV-22 Maintenance Support. The contract aims to provide maintenance support at both Organizational Level (O-Level) and Intermediate Level (I-Level) for the six Tactical Aircraft (TACAIR) Squadrons of Marine Aircraft Group 26 (MAG-26), located at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, North Carolina. The mission of MAG-26 is to exercise tactical command and control, providing responsive combat assault support, aviation logistics support, and aviation ground support to Marine, Joint, and Coalition forces for amphibious and expeditionary operations. Work Details The contractor will perform Organizational and Intermediate Level scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks including: documentation, troubleshooting, inspections, corrosion prevention/treatment, servicing, lubricating, adjusting, and removal/replacement of aeronautical components. The contractor will also participate in periodic quality assurance audits and inspections by Government Aviation Maintenance Management Team (AMMT), Aviation Logistics Management Assist Team (ALMAT), Maintenance Program Assist visits, training assist visits, Material Condition Inspections (MCIs), and Naval Safety Center surveys. All work must comply with the most current version of Commander Naval Air Forces Instruction (COMNAVAIRFORINST) 4790 and other applicable regulations. The contractor will provide all labor, supervision, technical support required for MV-22 maintenance services. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a base period of 12 months with options for three additional 12-month periods.
