Work Details The contractor shall provide all resources necessary for bulk laundry services, including labor, equipment, and transportation. Services include: 1. Hybrid-rental of linen items alongside Customer Owned Goods (COG). 2. Laundering and finishing of bulk laundry items with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation, adhering to industry standards (CDC, OSHA, ALM, IFI). 3. Estimated annual laundry weight: 500,000 pounds. 4. Re-cleaning of unsatisfactory items at no additional cost. 5. Facility must maintain separation between clean and soiled linens to prevent cross-contamination. 6. Daily pickups and deliveries scheduled Monday through Friday between 6 AM - 8 AM. 7. Submission of daily and monthly reports detailing linen received and delivered. 8. Contractor responsible for replacing lost or damaged government-owned items within 30 days. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract will be a maximum of 5 years, consisting of a base period and several option periods that may be exercised at the discretion of the Veterans Health Administration.
