Background The City of Holly Springs, Georgia, is issuing this solicitation for the 2026 LMIG & Asphalt Resurfacing Project. The project aims to enhance local infrastructure by resurfacing and maintaining city streets as part of their ongoing commitment to community development and public safety. Work Details The project involves approximately 1.25 miles of asphalt patching, resurfacing, and striping on 5 City Streets within Holly Springs, Georgia. The work must adhere to the Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction of Roads and Bridges, 2021 Edition, or the current edition along with any attached modifications and special provisions. Period of Performance The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 30 consecutive days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed. The work is anticipated to take place during June and/or July 2026. Place of Performance City of Holly Springs, Georgia. Bidder Requirements Bidders must provide a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, equivalent to five percent (5%) of the total contract amount. A performance bond and a payment bond for 100% of the contract amount are also required. Surety and insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-6 or greater and be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department.
