Background The City of Bainbridge is seeking sealed bids for the Annual 2026/2027 Street Striping project. The purpose of this contract is to provide street striping services, which are essential for maintaining road safety and traffic management within the city. The city aims to select a qualified vendor with the necessary experience and qualifications to perform these services in a timely and professional manner. Work Details The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, tools, fees, and equipment necessary for street striping. Specific tasks include: - Providing 5” White Lines with reflective glass beads (per linear feet) - Providing 5” Yellow Lines with reflective glass beads (per linear feet) - Providing 5” White Lines with reflective glass beads for Parking Stalls (on-street) - Providing 5” Blue Lines with reflective glass beads for Handicap Striping. The contract will be based on a minimum of 5 miles of centerline striping throughout the year on an as-needed basis. Period of Performance The contract will commence in June 2026 and will last for twelve (12) months, ending in June 2027. There is an option for renewal for one additional twelve (12) month period. Place of Performance The services will be performed within the City of Bainbridge, Georgia. Bidder Requirements Bidders must demonstrate responsibility by having adequate financial resources, a satisfactory performance record, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, bidders must possess or be able to obtain an occupational tax certificate with the City of Bainbridge. Insurance requirements include maintaining liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Bidders must also provide three verifiable references related to similar services.
