Background The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, Airports Division is issuing a contract for the construction of the Taxilane T1 Extension at Lihue Airport. Period of Performance The contract work is expected to commence upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and will continue throughout the project duration as specified in the Construction Phasing plans. Place of Performance The work will be performed at Lihue Airport, located in Kauai, Hawaii. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with licensing requirements as per Hawaii Revised Statutes Chapter 444. Contractors must have appropriate licenses for all aspects of the work they intend to perform or subcontract. Additionally, contractors are required to provide evidence of vehicle liability insurance for operations within the Airport Operations Area (AOA), with minimum coverage limits specified based on the type of access clearance required.
