Background

The County of Hawai'i is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the procurement of a Mobile Office for the Hawai'i Fire Department, specifically for the Ocean Safety Division. The goal of this contract is to furnish, deliver, and install a mobile office that meets specified requirements to enhance operational capabilities.

Work Details

The contractor is required to furnish, deliver, and install a 20' x 8' mobile office or similar unit at Maniniʻōwali beach (Kua Bay), located at 72-3244 Queen Kaahumanu Hwy, Holualoa, HI 96725. The mobile office must be secured against movement by chocking the tires. Specifications include: - Size: 20’ long (including 4’ hitch), 16’ box size, 8’ wide, and 7’ ceiling height. - Interior finish: paneled walls, vinyl tile floors, pre-finished ceiling. - Electrical: fluorescent ceiling lights, 120/240 volt single phase electric with a 60 amp breaker panel. - Windows/Door: horizontal sliding windows and a steel door with a commercial-grade lock.

Period of Performance

The completion, installation, or delivery date will be calculated from the official commencement date which shall be either the date of the 'Notice to Proceed' or the date of the Purchase Order. All equipment or goods procured must be delivered within 60 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance

The mobile office will be delivered and installed at Maniniʻōwali beach (Kua Bay), located at 72-3244 Queen Kaahumanu Hwy, Holualoa, HI 96725.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all applicable laws and regulations including providing proof of compliance with tax clearance and insurance requirements as specified in the solicitation documents. No bid bonds or performance bonds are required for this IFB/RFP.
