The goal of this contract is to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality feed for the dairy cattle, which is essential for their health and productivity. Work Details The contractor will supply Soyplus, a high-quality dairy feed, in the following quantities: - Approximately 61 tons for a 3-month term - Approximately 122 tons for a 6-month term - Approximately 244 tons for a 12-month term. The Soyplus must be clean, free of aflatoxin contamination, and suitable for feeding dairy cattle. Deliveries will be made to the ISU Dairy Farm located at 52470 260th St., Ames, IA 50014. Orders will typically be placed by the farm superintendent or their designee as needed throughout the contract term, with deliveries expected every four weeks. Pricing must remain firm for the entire contract volume. Period of Performance The contract will have three potential terms: - Approximately 3 months from award through August 15, 2026 - Approximately 6 months from award through November 15, 2026 - Approximately 12 months from award through May 15, 2027.
