Work Details The contractor will furnish, deliver, install, and dispose of a total of 955 mattresses consisting of: - 819 Twin XL mattresses (36" x 80" x minimum 6.5" thickness) - 136 Twin mattresses (36" x 75" x minimum 6.5" thickness) All mattresses must be new and unused, constructed with hospital-grade breathable nylon covers that are fluid-proof, antimicrobial, antifungal, stain-resistant, and designed to withstand high humidity. The contractor is responsible for delivery to designated locations within the University housing facilities, including placement in specific rooms and removal of existing mattresses. The work must be completed within 120 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Period of Performance The contract work must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days from the date designated in the Notice to Proceed. Place of Performance The services will be performed at various University of Hawaii at Hilo housing facilities located in Hilo, Hawaii. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with all technical specifications outlined in the IFB and demonstrate adequate financial resources and experience to perform the required services.
