Background The Iowa Army National Guard's Midwest Counterdrug Training Center (MCTC) is seeking proposals for technical instruction services related to Highway Drug Investigations for Patrol courses. MCTC is one of five National Guard Counterdrug training programs, providing curriculum focused on counternarcotics and counter transnational organized crime. Located at Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center in Johnston, Iowa, MCTC aims to impact the illicit flow of drugs through training that supports federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies involved in counternarcotics missions. The courses are designed to enhance national security and support various drug control strategies. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to design, develop, and instruct a Highway Drug Investigations for Patrol course. The contract includes: 1) Up to 6 iterations of the course during the base period; 2) Up to 12 iterations during each of the four option periods. The curriculum will focus on illicit narcotics interdiction, disruption of drug trafficking organizations, intelligence and analysis, narco-terrorism, homeland security, civil operations, and anti-drug coalition fundamentals. Period of Performance The contract will have a base period of 12 months with four additional option periods of 12 months each. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at the Midwest Counterdrug Training Center located at Camp Dodge Joint Maneuver Training Center in Johnston, Iowa.
