NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

DSP: K'esugi Ken Campground Water System Design Project No. 71883-1 The Alaska Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, Design & Construction Section is soliciting professional services for engineering and design services for K'esugi Ken Campground in Denali State Park located near Trapper Creek, Alaska. A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately June 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $50,000 and $100,000.

FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS IN THE RFP FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received as indicated on the RFP no later than May 21, 2026, 2:00 p.m., prevailing time. Background The Alaska Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, Design & Construction Section is seeking professional engineering and design services for the K’esugi Ken Campground Water System located in Denali State Park near Trapper Creek, Alaska. The goal of this contract is to convert two handpump water wells into pressurized systems for public use, enhancing accessibility for campground users. Work Details The contractor will provide comprehensive services including: 1. Due diligence work and design services for the conversion of existing handpump wells to pressurized systems. 2. Assistance during the bidding process and construction phases. 3. Development of design documents including plans, specifications, and cost estimates. 4. Coordination with the Contract Manager throughout the project lifecycle. 5. Deliverables include stamped and sealed final drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and all necessary permits required for construction. Period of Performance The estimated period for performance of the Agreement is from June 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at K’esugi Ken Campground in Denali State Park, Alaska. Bidder Requirements Proposers must comply with Alaska licensing requirements for architecture, engineering, land surveying, or landscape architecture. Additionally, any proposer listing a current or former public officer as a team member must submit a sworn statement confirming compliance with the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act.
