Background Boone County, Kentucky, referred to as the 'County', is seeking proposals from qualified firms or contractors to provide janitorial and cleaning services for select government buildings. The County reserves the right to amend specifications as necessary. Work Details The contractor will provide custodial services for several locations including: - Boone County Justice Center (46,665 SF) - Boone County Administration Building (60,740 SF) - Boone County Attorney's Office (3,600 SF) - Boone County Public Works Office (10,000 SF) - Boone County Code Enforcement Office (3,600 SF) - Boone County Parks Office (8,000 SF). Services include daily tasks such as emptying trash containers, cleaning surfaces, vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and sanitizing restrooms. Weekly tasks include dusting and cleaning baseboards. Monthly services involve surface cleaning of desks and cabinets. Quarterly services include polishing floors and cleaning light fixtures. Semi-annual services involve deep cleaning carpets and stripping wax from floors. The contractor must also provide all necessary equipment and supplies except for certain restroom supplies provided by the County. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be ongoing with specific service schedules outlined in the RFP.
