Background The Boone County Board of Education is seeking qualified vendors to provide inspection, preventative maintenance, and repair services for emergency generators located throughout the district. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all emergency generators are maintained in optimal working condition to support the educational mission of the district. Work Details The selected vendor(s) will be responsible for: 1. Routine inspections of all district generators. 2. Preventative maintenance according to manufacturer specifications. 3. Load bank testing. 4. Fuel system checks and battery testing. 5. Emergency repair services on an as-needed basis. 6. Detailed service reports following each inspection or repair. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and will continue for a period specified in the bid documents, typically lasting multiple years depending on the terms agreed upon. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various locations throughout Boone County School District, Kentucky. Bidder Requirements Vendors must be licensed and insured to perform generator maintenance services, have demonstrated experience with commercial or institutional generator systems, provide references from similar contracts (preferably school districts or government entities), and have the capability to respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner.
