Background The General Services Administration (GSA), through its Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS), is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) 47QFSA26R0003 for Corrosion Control services. This contract aims to provide Organizational Level (O-Level) and Intermediate Level (I-Level) Maintenance Support for the Marine Aircraft Group 26 and Marine Aircraft Group 29, both of which are part of the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing located at Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina. The mission of the Marine Aircraft Group is to provide responsive combat assault support, aviation logistics support, and aviation ground support to enable amphibious and expeditionary operations. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing aircraft maintenance services, specifically cleaning and washing support for various squadrons under MAG 26 and MAG 29. The services will include: - Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance - Aircraft maintenance action documentation via logs, records, forms, and electronic means - Flight Line operations/functions - Support Equipment operation and inspections - Aircraft inspections - Aircraft movement - Corrosion Control - Troubleshooting - Preservation and de-preservation - Dynamic components maintenance - Composite repair - General aircraft sheet metal carbon fiber repair. The contractor must adhere to the most current version of Commander Naval Air Forces Instruction (COMNAVAIRFORINST) 4790, also known as the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP), along with applicable maintenance instruction manuals, Technical Directives (TDs), squadron Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other relevant instructions. Additionally, the contractor will perform corrosion prevention and treatment in accordance with governing directives. Place of Performance The primary location for performance of this contract is Marine Corps Air Station New River, North Carolina.
