Background The National Park Service (NPS), a bureau of the U.S. Department of the Interior, is responsible for preserving natural and cultural resources for public enjoyment and education. Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts requires a contract for the repair and maintenance of a government-owned JLG 1350SJP Telescopic Ultra Boom Lift to ensure its safe operation in support of park activities. Work Details The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, parts, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidental items necessary to perform hydraulic system repairs and preventative maintenance on one JLG 1350SJP Telescopic Ultra Boom Lift. The work includes: 1. Hydraulic Cylinder Repairs: - Remove and rebuild two leaking hydraulic cylinders (lift and tilt). - Perform cylinder honing, internal inspection, seal replacement, and pressure testing. - Install new hydraulic seal kits and clean components using approved materials. - Test the hydraulic system under operational conditions to confirm functionality. 2. Hydraulic Hose Replacement: - Remove and replace eight damaged hydraulic hoses in the tilt arm with new hoses of proper rating and fittings. - Ensure proper routing and securement of hoses. 3. Preventative Maintenance (PM) Service: - Replace fuel filter, oil filter, drain and replace hydraulic oil (AW46), gear oil (85W-140 synthetic), and engine coolant with 50/50 premix antifreeze. - Inspect hydraulic, fuel, and lubrication systems; clean components as required; verify operational performance post-service. Period of Performance The period of performance is from March 31, 2026 to May 31, 2026. Place of Performance The primary location of work will be at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts located at 1551 Trap Road, Vienna, VA 22182.
