The contract aims to address invasive plant species that threaten native vegetation recovery, particularly in areas disturbed by timber sales, fire, and recreational activities. The goal is to manage invasive plant populations effectively to prevent their spread and support ecosystem recovery. Work Details The contractor will apply herbicide to non-native invasive plant species at specified sites using approved herbicides and adjuvants. Key tasks include: 1. Herbicide application to target species such as knapweed, bull thistle, and musk thistle across various terrains including grasslands, wetlands, and woodlands. 2. Management of all necessary resources including supervision, labor, materials, supplies, transportation, and equipment. 3. Compliance with the Integrated Invasive Plant Management for the Lakeview Field Office and other relevant environmental assessments. 4. Documentation of weed populations and treatment methods. 5. Adherence to timing considerations based on plant phenology for effective treatment. 6. Treatment sites may require walk-in access or use of ATVs/UTVs as approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
