Background The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Klamath Falls Fish and Wildlife Office (KFFWO), is seeking recurring snow removal and parking lot grading services to maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the property reflects the USFWS mission and provides a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Snow and Ice Removal: - Perform snow removal as needed, approximately from November to March. - Respond within 5 hours of a weather event when snow exceeds 3 inches in depth in the Main Office Grounds and Auto Yard building access areas, or exceeds 5 inches in depth in the Auto Yard vehicle storage area. 2. Auto Yard Gravel Grading: - Conduct annual grading of the auto yard parking lot as needed and requested by KFFWO. The service areas include the Main Office Building, Annex Building, and Auto Yard. The contractor must have experience in commercial snow removal and grading gravel, heavy equipment operation, and hold necessary state and local licenses. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a period of five years from the date of award, with up to four option years available.
