Background The contract is issued by the U.S. Government for the purpose of providing mowing, trimming, and vegetation control services at specific sites including Papillion Creek Site 20 (Wehrspann Lake), William Brothers Levee, and Flower Hill Levee. The goal of this contract is to maintain the appearance and health of these areas while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Work Details The contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1. Mowing and Trimming: Maintain grass height between four (4) and eight (8) inches across designated areas, ensuring a uniform appearance free of skips, gaps, or clumping. 2. Vegetation Control: Implement a program to eliminate all vegetation within specified control areas, with initial control occurring concurrently with the first mowing after April 1 and completed by May 31. 3. Tree Removal: Cut and remove all trees or woody vegetation flush to the ground in designated areas, applying fresh-cut herbicide immediately after cutting. 4. Safety Compliance: Develop an Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA), ensure all personnel wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and maintain first-aid kits in vehicles. 5. Quality Control: Services must be performed to a first-class standard with immediate correction of deficiencies as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). 6. Reporting Requirements: Document pesticide applications according to regulations and submit records within specified timeframes. Place of Performance Services will be performed at Papillion Creek Site 20 (Wehrspann Lake), William Brothers Levee, and Flower Hill Levee.
