Background The United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is issuing this solicitation for the Diesel Standby Generator project at the Tooele Air Center. The goal of this contract is to provide a reliable standby power system to support critical operations during utility outages, ensuring operational continuity for the facility. Work Details The project involves the following tasks: - Furnishing and installing a complete 60-kW diesel generator paired with an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) for automatic power switching. - Verifying load calculations based on peak demand measurements recorded at 370 kWh per day. - Constructing a new concrete pad at the designated site according to facility blueprints. - Performing full installation of the generator system. - Conducting startup, testing, and commissioning to ensure compliance with applicable codes and seamless performance. Period of Performance The estimated period of performance for this contract is 45 days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Place of Performance The construction projects will be performed at the Tooele Air Center, located at the Tooele Valley Airport (Bolinder Field), in Erda, Utah (Tooele County), approximately five miles northwest of the city of Tooele and near State Highway 138.
