Background The Tooele Air Center, managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), requires a reliable standby power system to support critical operations during utility outages. The facility's electrical infrastructure has pre-installed provisions for integrating a generator and Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). The project aims to ensure seamless performance and compliance with applicable codes. Work Details The Contractor shall furnish and install a complete diesel standby generator system with an ATS. The work includes: - Verifying load calculations; - Providing specifications for a 60-kW diesel generator with enclosure, fuel tank (minimum 8-hour runtime), and accessories; - Providing specifications for an outdoor-rated ATS; - Constructing a reinforced concrete pad at the designated location; - Installing the generator and ATS at the prepared site; - Connecting to existing conduits and terminations; - Overseeing startup, load bank testing, ATS transfer testing, and operator training. Deliverables include Load Verification Memo, Generator Specification Package, ATS Specification Package, updated one-line diagram, Pad Plan/As-Built Sketch, Startup and Testing Report & Training Materials. Period of Performance 45 days from issuance of Notice to Proceed. Place of Performance Tooele Air Center, located at Tooele Valley Airport in Erda, Utah.
