Background The Commonwealth of Kentucky, through the Finance and Administration Cabinet, is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of a Carbonyl/Volatile Organic Compound Toxic Air Sampler. The purpose of this contract is to provide necessary air quality monitoring equipment to support the mission of the Energy and Environment Cabinet in ensuring environmental protection and public health. Work Details The contract requires the provision of one (1) ATEC Model 2200-2 or equivalent dual channel canister and carbonyl sampler. The sampler must meet the following specifications: - Operate on 115 VAC, 60 Hz - Be microprocessor controlled with an interactive touch screen display - Provide flexible scheduling, error checking, and data logging capabilities - Feature dual channels for independent canister and carbonyl sampling with independent electronic mass flow controllers - Allow for programmable sampling intervals from 1 to 24 hours - Include manual and automatic leak checking capabilities - Have a canister flow rate adjustable from 0-10 cc/min with +/- 1% FS accuracy - Include a filter for the cartridge channel with a flow rate adjustable from 0-2 liter/min - Come with complete instruction and maintenance manuals along with a minimum one-year parts and labor warranty. Upon receipt, the samplers will undergo a 90-day performance evaluation at the Division for Air Quality's certification lab. Period of Performance The contract is set to commence upon award and will cover a one-time purchase only, with no renewal options specified. Place of Performance The products will be delivered to the Division for Air Quality located at 300 Sower Blvd, 2nd Floor, Frankfort, KY 40601.
