Vendors should carefully examine the Specification and other documents, visit the site of the work (if provided,) and fully inform themselves as to all conditions and matters which can in any way affect the work or costs thereof. Should a Vendor find discrepancies in, or omissions from the drawings, specifications or other Contract Documents, or should Vendor be in doubt as to the meaning and intent, Vendor should notify the City at once and obtain clarification prior to submitting a packet. The submission of packets by Vendor shall be conclusive evidence that the Vendor is fully acquainted and satisfied as to the character, quality and quantity of work to be performed and materials to be furnished.

Background The City of Carrollton is seeking proposals for Fleet Maintenance and Management Services to support its operations. The goal of this contract is to ensure the efficient management and maintenance of the city's fleet, which is essential for delivering public services effectively. Work Details The selected vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive fleet maintenance and management services, which may include but are not limited to: - Regular maintenance checks - Repairs - Parts replacement - Emergency services - Management of fleet records The vendor must ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding vehicle maintenance and safety standards. Additionally, the vendor will be expected to provide detailed reporting on fleet performance metrics and maintenance schedules. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for four years, with options for two additional one-year renewals based on mutual agreement between the City and the vendor. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various locations within the City of Carrollton, Texas, including but not limited to the Central Service Center located at 2711 Nimitz Drive and Sandy Lake Service Center at 2155 Sandy Lake Road. Bidder Requirements Bidders must submit a bid bond equal to 5% of their total bid amount. They must also provide proof of required insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation documents. Vendors are required to comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to vehicle maintenance. Additionally, vendors must not be listed on any debarment lists or have any conflicts of interest with city officials.
