Background The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission (WRC) is seeking to renovate and expand the Caswell Shooting Range. This project aims to enhance the facilities available for public use, aligning with the agency's mission to promote wildlife conservation and outdoor recreation. The renovation will include the construction of a new office and classroom building, as well as improvements to the existing shooting range. Work Details The scope of work includes: 1. Construction of a new office and classroom building for staff to complete reports, check-in customers, provide safety training, and hold classroom training. 2. Renovation and expansion of the existing shooting range to increase its capacity for public use. 3. Installation of covered shooting lanes, new bullet baffle recovery systems, and electrical shooting systems. Period of Performance The project is expected to commence following the selection process and will be completed within a timeframe that aligns with the total project budget of $3,849,000. Place of Performance The work will be performed at the R. Wayne Bailey-Caswell Shooting Range located at 3670 NC-86, Yanceyville, NC 27379. Bidder Requirements Proposing firms must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in the State of North Carolina. Additionally, firms must submit three copies of their Letter of Interest and three copies of their current Standard Form 254 (SF 254).
