Background Henrico County Public Schools (HCPS) is the 6th largest school division in Virginia, serving over 50,000 students across 74 schools. The goal of this RFP is to obtain services from a qualified firm to provide integrated support services for families, students, and staff in need within HCPS. This procurement is a cooperative effort conducted on behalf of Henrico County and other public bodies. Work Details The Successful Offeror will coordinate integrated support services at selected schools, including Highland Springs, Montrose, Fair Oaks, Donahoe, Elko, Fairfield, Rolfe, Varina, and VA Randolph. Services include: - Providing a site coordinator at each school during school hours and special events. - Administering assessments within 60 days post-award to identify specific service needs. - Developing annual action plans tailored to each school's needs. - Coordinating community partnerships for academic rewards and support initiatives. - Recruiting instructional tutors with at least 60 college credit hours. - Offering mentoring programs tailored to student needs. - Providing professional development for school staff on best practices and strategies for supporting at-risk students. Period of Performance The contract period will be from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The contract may be renewed for up to four additional one-year periods at the County's discretion. Place of Performance Services will be performed within Henrico County Public Schools across designated elementary, middle, and high schools. Bidder Requirements Offerors must comply with Virginia Code requirements regarding direct contact with students and must certify that individuals providing such services have no disqualifying criminal convictions. Additionally, Offerors must demonstrate qualifications in providing integrated support services and may need to provide proof of insurance as specified in the RFP.
