Background

The Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES and Component School Districts require a reliable supply of fresh fruits and vegetables. They have formed a Cooperative Bid Group under General Municipal Law Section 119-o to contract with vendors and establish prices for these items for the contract term.

Work Details

The contract involves the provision of various fresh fruits and vegetables, including but not limited to: - Avocadoes - Beans (Green, French Haricot)

Brussel Sprouts

- Cabbage (Coleslaw Mix) - Carrots (Mini/Baby Peeled, Jumbo, Shredded) - Cauliflower - Celery - Corn (Sweet) - Tomatoes (Grape, Cherry, Large, Medium, Extra Large) - Onions (US #1 Yellow, Spanish Jumbo) - Peppers (Green, Jalapeno, Orange, Rainbow, Red, Yellow) - Potatoes (Bakers, White Size B) - Apples (Mac's, Red Delicious) - Bananas (Petites) - Blackberries - Blueberries - Cantaloupe - Grapefruit (Pink) - Grapes (Red and Green seedless)

Honeydew Melon

- Kiwi - Lemons - Limes - Mangoes - Oranges (Navel) - Peaches - Pears - Pineapple (Gold) - Pomegranate

Star Fruit

- Strawberries - Watermelon. Each item has specific packaging requirements and quantities detailed in the bid proposal.

Period of Performance

The contract is set to commence upon award and will last until the specified delivery dates outlined in the bid proposal.

Place of Performance

Deliveries will be made to various locations as specified in the bid documents.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a New York State Department of Agricultural & Markets certificate as a Farm Products Dealer License and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) certification. Additional documentation may include a W9 form.
