Demo & Install of ADA Ramp for Mescalero Agency

Summary: Background The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA), specifically the Branch of Facility Management, is issuing this solicitation for the installation of an ADA-compliant handicap ramp at Building 95, located at 57 Chatto Drive in Mescalero, NM. The goal of this contract is to ensure safe and lawful access to the facility for individuals with disabilities, thereby eliminating barriers that currently prevent wheelchair users and others with mobility limitations from entering and exiting the building safely. This project is critical for compliance with accessibility requirements and to mitigate potential liability issues. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, licenses/certifications, and supervision necessary for the installation of the handicap ramp. The scope includes designing and constructing a ramp that meets ADA standards to facilitate access for individuals with disabilities. The work must be performed at Building 95 of the BIA Mescalero Agency in accordance with all applicable guidelines governing handicap ramp installation. Period of Performance 30 days after contract award Place of Performance BIA Mescalero Agency building 95, 57 Chatto Drive, Mescalero NM 88340 Bidder Requirements This procurement is set aside 100% for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE). Bidders must confirm their ISBEE or IEE status by filling out Attachment 3 IA - IEE Representation Form and providing it with their quote. Additionally, bidders are required to have appropriate licenses/certifications related to construction and may need to provide bid/payment/performance bonds.
