The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Logistics Operations Division (LOD), is seeking Repair Work to the Fire System of the FEMA Transportable Housing Storage Site (THSS) in Selma, Alabama, in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), Attachment 1. Additionally, the Selma Manufactured Housing Storage Site (MHSS), mandates the performance of annual fire system inspections that include, quarterly and monthly checks of its fire safety equipment in accordance with the SOW. Summary: Background The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Logistics Operations Division (LOD), is seeking to secure funding and award a contract for fire system repairs and annual inspections at the Selma Transportable Housing Storage Site (THSS) located in Selma, Alabama. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all fire safety equipment is adequately repaired, tested, and ready for use in the event of a fire safety emergency. Additionally, the contract encompasses the performance of annual fire system inspections at the Selma Manufactured Housing Storage Site (MHSS), which includes quarterly and monthly checks of its fire safety equipment. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for: 1. Investigating an underground leak at Fire Hydrant #1 by excavating the area around the hydrant to determine the cause of the leak. A quote for any necessary repairs must be provided under CLIN 2, with approval from FEMA's Representative (COR) required before work can begin. The repairs to the underground leak must be completed prior to addressing issues with the fire pump, as the leak is causing continuous operation of the pump. 2. Replacing a missing sprinkler head listed in the head box. 3. Replacing a missing Fire Department Connection (FDC) sign. Furthermore, regular inspection services will be performed as indicated in the Statement of Work (SOW). Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract includes a Base Period from July 28, 2026, to July 27, 2027, with additional Option Periods extending through July 27, 2031. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at FEMA Transportable Housing Storage Site (THSS), located at 661 Selfield Rd, Selma, AL 36703. Bidder Requirements Bidders must have an active Federal Government contracts registration and demonstrate compliance with all requirements outlined in Attachment 1, SOW. The contractor must also ensure that all personnel involved possess necessary qualifications and certifications relevant to fire system repairs and inspections.
